All students must audition for their role in the Seussical production during class. Students do not need to prepare for an audition. We will help new students through the auditioning process during the first few weeks of class.

If you are still interested, please inquire about our waitlist. Students are invited to compete at the National Performing Arts Festival in Early March. Universal Studios will host an exciting awards ceremony in the park for our students to enjoy! Students in this class will also have an opportunity to perform at several local events throughout the year, such as the Florida State Fair, Art in the Park, Botanical Gardens, The Kids Fringe Festival, and more. Seussical students are encouraged to join us on Tuesdays: however, it is not mandatory.

This group does not require an audition. The class is for students interested in performing at local events such as The Florida State Fair, Art in the Park, Botanical Gardens, The Kids Fringe Festival, and more. Seussical cast members who join this class will have additional performance and learning opportunities. This group will focus on a wide variety of musical numbers. * Universal Studios- this class is invited to observe the performance and workshop. The Universal registration was completed in the fall. Please inquire about our waitlist if you are still interested.

This is the class for students who want to be in the Movies and/or love improv!
Students enjoy the art of improv and comedy while learning basic acting techniques and developing valuable life skills such as confidence, leadership, team building, inclusion, creativity, public speaking, and many more. Students also have the opportunity to learn how to act for the camera. As many of you know, Sears Studio has connected with local film and television producers who are growing their home base for Hallmark and Lifetime movies in our area. This class will address any students interested in preparing for opportunities/auditions in the local film and TV industry. Please note that this curriculum is for preparing and understanding the business basics, but it is not a class that promises auditions, roles, or agents.
